Deborah A. Robbins - VP Marketing and Sustainability - Founding Member

Deborah A. Robbins

Deborah Robbins has over 30 years experience in the healthcare arena in various capacities including education, management and consultative selling. Early in her career she rapidly moved from a staff nurse to various management positions. She has lived all over the U.S. and travels extensively and is aware of various market trends nationwide within numerous industries. She has been involved with market research, patient room design, product development and various other items housed in health-care facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada. During these developmental projects she worked closely with senior hospital administrators, physicians, architects and others. Her colleagues often remark on Deborah-s analytical skills and "can do" attitude. She is a people person and is revered by her colleagues.

After working at Buffalo Children's Hospital/Women & Children's Hospital she moved to Boston, MA. She continued her career at Harvard's Teaching facility, Brigham and Women's Hospital. Deborah has held various management positions over her almost ten years at this prestigious health-care facility. She created various new programs addressing risk management, continuous quality improvement, and education.

She was involved in the creation and corporate vision for Isis Maternity, a center for expectant and new mothers. She was a driving force behind this endeavor, which now has three locations in the Metro Boston area. She created the initial teaching programs and assisted in the development of their marketing and sales collateral materials.

Deborah moved back to Buffalo in April 2006 to assume full-time responsibilities at RubberForm Recycled Products LLC. She got RubberForm's products listed on the EPA Comprehensive Procurement List for Environmentally Preferred Products and GreenSpec product listing for LEED certification credits. She is a member of US Green Building Council and is working to enhance activities locally and state-wide addressing Green/eco-friendly initiatives. Her goals for RubberForm are to develop sustainability programs and partner with other sustainable businesses and manufacturers of recycled products that are made in the USA.

Deborah has her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from SUNY Brockport, a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, MA and holds various certifications in health-care education. She is presently attending Boston Architectural College for Sustainable Design and will become a certified LEED Green Associate.

Deborah is involved in the Women's Business Center at Canisius College and is presently enrolled in New Venture Creation: Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century.

She is active in NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and other business forums in Western New York.
