Our Flexibase Sign Post Bollard Systems are designed to take a beating and always pop back up (just like a certain boxer from Philly). If you have signage posts that are prone to vehicle impacts, you need our Flexibase Sign Post Bollard System.
It’s easy to install and very difficult to break even with repeated impacts. It also will minimize damage to the offending vehicle. Works with square, 2 inch sign posts (like Telespar or perforated square sign posts).

You know your parking lots and their patrons best. And while our portable recycled rubber sign bases can take a lot of punishment, there are some situations where you’d want our permanently mounted Flexibase Sign Post Bollards instead.
Once you install them (which is easy to do without large crews or heavy machinery), our Flexibase Sign Post Bollards stay put. And when a vehicle bumps them, they flex without breaking. They won’t even substantially damage the vehicle because of the protective plastic bollard cover. When the vehicle reverses, the sign post pops right back up into position.
It’s one more step toward a low maintenance, welcoming branded experience from parking to purchase. And the best-looking parking lot for miles around.

How much do your portable sign bases weigh?
72 pounds, with a low center of gravity for added stability. We also have a 75-pound base weight for high wind areas with larger signs.
How portable are your sign bases?
Simply just tip on its bottom side edge and roll the round base into position. Grab the top of the side post and place you hand halfway down the signpost and push into position. If you need a cart to move, we have two size sign base carts, for our 72-pound sign base and our 150-pound sign base post system.
How do I lift or move your sign base?
You can either tip-and-roll into position, or if you need an easier way to move around, we offer a sign base mover cart for longer distances. We have 2 sizes available – one for our standard 72-pound sign base and one for our additional 75-pound sign base weight, for a total weight of 150 pounds.
I’m in a high-wind area and I need a heavier sign base. Do you have a base that weighs more than 72 pounds?
Yes, we have an add-on sign base weight that will add 75 pounds to our sign base, for a total of more than 145 pounds. It also creates a wider base, making it less likely to tip.
Does your sign base come in colors?
We offer thermoformed plastic safety yellow, or handicap blue covers that snap on top of the sign base for higher visibility. The plastic covers can be ordered in custom colors, however, require a minimum quantity order.
What size signposts does your sign base support? Can I use round, square or U-Channel signposts?
We have 3 signpost hole sizes. They can be ordered with a square hole to accommodate a 1-¾” square perforated or smooth, square post with drilled holes. The square hole base will accommodate a U-channel post as well. We can also custom-fabricate square tubes to any configuration and powder coat any color. We also have sign bases with a round post holes to accommodate a 2-⅜” round Schedule 40 plastic post or aluminum post and a 1-⅔” round post. The round plastic 2-⅜” post is our most-popular signpost base.
What post height do you recommend for your 72-pound sign base?
We generally recommend a 5’ signpost for our sign bases. This cuts down on the wind shear that might tip the sign base over in higher wind areas. If you require a taller post, please order our 75-pound sign base weight that attaches to the bottom of our 72-pound sign base. This added sign base weight will enable you to go up to the MUTCD height of 7’ to 8’, use a metal post for this application as plastic may bend in the wind. Please check with your local sign ordinances for the regulations and or sign code requirements.
What is the minimum quantity I can order?
Just one sign base. We can ship out via FedEx or UPS ground to any location or up to 20 sign bases per pallet via common carrier – LTL.
What is the turnaround time to ship your sign base?
Our sign bases are generally in stock and can be shipped out the following business day. Larger orders (greater than 100 sign bases) may take a little longer.

Why is the RubberForm sign base better than the octagonal sign bases I’ve seen other places?
Most of these sign bases are imported, from China and Quebec Canada (Canada subsidizes their tire recycling and product manufacturing program as much as 50% subsidy). Our sign base is made in our plant in the USA, New York State. We’ve had these octagonal sign bases tested by national sign companies, and they told us the RubberForm sign base is much more stable in high winds due to its low center of gravity design. Side-by-side comparison tests done by our customers have shown RubberForm sign bases winning indisputably.
