American Public Works Asssocaiton

In 1937, a group of individuals, private companies, and public works agencies chartered the American Public Works Association to promote cooperation, education, and advocacy of public Sector projects throughout the U.S. and Canada. RubberForm’s membership helps us  stay ahead of public works trends, codes, and innovations—ensuring our safety and infrastructure products align with municipal and state-level needs.

United States Green Building Council

Founded in 1993 to promote environmentally-friendly, sustainable construction practices and building design, the U.S. Green Building Council developed the popular LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) system of green building ratings. As a USGBC member, RubberForm uses LEED specifications to innovate better recycled safety products that architects and specifying engineers can use for LEED credits and green building goals.

Institute of Transportation Engineers

In 1930, after decades of rapid technological development, it was clear that traffic congestion and vehicle deaths were major society-wide problems that needed a coordinated response. The ITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers) was formed by transportation professionals to share scientific knowledge, develop coordinated traffic solutions, and promote them, all internationally. Being a part of ITE connects RubberForm with transportation engineers and decision-makers who use our products. The ITE helps us innovate better recycled rubber and plastic safety products for a safer, more sustainable roadway and parking infrastructure we all can share.

International Erosion Control Assocation

Soil erosion, sediment control, and stormwater management are increasingly important problems created by modern construction projects. The IECA (International Erosion Control Association) was created for engineers and other professionals in the construction industry and their government counterparts to promote networking, education, and awareness. They’ve established widely-used standards of practice for addressing erosion control issues. By collaborating with IECA professionals, we ensure our RubberForm recycled safety products meet the IECA’s rigorous environmental and regulatory standards, and we maintain our commitment to sustainable stormwater and erosion solutions.
